My good friends at Bryan Potter Design published and distributed an elegant 9×12" 16-page ten-year retrospective, which artfully covers their humble beginnings in 1998 to their current status as a niche-boutique Portland design firm focused on environmental and social cause projects today in 2008.
They’re the only design firm I know who gets to do graphic design work AND make the world a better place. It’s all good.
Best of all, they commissioned me to create original artwork to appear on the opening spread of this showcase piece, and it is one of my favorite recent illustrations. Bryan and Eldon Potter were kind enough to keep their hands to themselves and let me have free reign over the artwork, which is almost always the case anyway. The only directive was this: it had to be about changing politicians minds, as that is the mission of much of the media they create for their clients.

It is always a joy to work with Potters as I get the opportunity to collaborate with them frequently throughout the year.
Recently, I helped them design and produce their new Web site, which showcases all their best work. When you get a free moment, be sure check them out.
